Getting near the end of the school year

I heard the news that this coming Thursday (March 18) will be the end of the school year 2009-2010. I'm a bit sad because I get to miss everyone I know in the school, my classmates, schoolmates, teachers, especially the graduating students because next school year I might not get to see them. :(

But the good news is that this coming April, I will go on a vacation! I get to go out and enjoy the place we will go and have fun! This is just my first time going out! :D

Ideas for some fun

It was dismissal time in the school. 4 boys were playing inside the classroom, throwing used ballpens and markers at each other like war. It seemed fun, but they were very noisy.

Then it gave me an idea for having fun on holidays in the house, weekends, and summer. This game is good to play outside or in a room with no furniture. Same with other daydreams, full of imagination.

This should give you an idea for summer, if you're just in the house..

Valentines season decorations

Belated Merry Christmas and Happy new year to all! Getting back to blogging! This is the very first entry for 2010.

Our Christmas decorations in our classroom in our school stayed up from November to January 11. We finally took it out and put in a few Valentines decorations. The only Christmas decorations that was up were the poinsettias. Poinsettias are flowers for the Christmas season. We made those poinsettias with Japanese paper and Christmas balls.

And did you know that we won 1st place (us 5-1 Venus) in Christmas decoration? really! it was a big surprise that we won. The prizes were packs of lollipop candies, each of us having about 5 lollipops. Because of our cooperation and creativity, we did it!

The last 3 days and today

What did I do in the last 3 days and today? well, the last 3 days, I was practicing for a Christmas event in my school. Then today was the Christmas presentation and party. It was really fun & joyful. What we all present was the traditions in Christmas around the world. Such as Poland, India, Germany, Brazil, Korea, etc. The country we present (5-1 Venus) was France. We danced in the song "Rudolph the red nosed reindeer" in French version. Then half of the song, it was now the song "Santa Claus is coming to town". I did my best, and enjoyed the fun.

2-day experience: Christmas shopping & Razon Family Reunion

We had a half-day shopping in the nearest mall. We bought many things like clothes, gel bracelets (some call it as "Ballers" but when you search about it, it's really called gel bracelets), accesories, etc. Then after some stores we go to, we were so tired, but had to continue shopping. We bought Christmas gifts, and accessories for ourselves.

On this day, we had a Reunion in my cousin's house. I showed my talent to my relatives which was showing magic, then every one was amazed. It was successful. Then my Tito, which his name is Tito Tony, gave me a prize. It was money, inside an envelope. I earned a lot because of my talents. Not only me, but others, too. My cousin, Raphael, showed his talent by reciting his poem that was for the Elocution contest of his school. He was part of the finalists, and won a gold medal (in that particular event, it only means finalist, not a champion). It was his very first time becoming one of 5 finalists and winning a medal. And that's it.

Speed Stacks in my school

Last Monday, my classmate asked me if i know "Speed Stacks" and if I have one. I replied to her that I know and I have. Then she asked me what is the color of mine, then I replied that mine is pink. Then we were talking about it, then she requested me to bring it on Wednesday, then I said, "Ok" and she will also bring hers.

Then I brought it on Wednesday and my seatmate was asking, "What is that?" then I replied, "Speed stacks". Then some of my classmates wanted to borrow it. They even said that they will be the first one to play, but there are many of my classmates saying that. It was pretty confusing, and unfair to other students who wanted to borrow it. So I have to take note on who is the first, second, third, and so on to borrow it.

And of course, many people like the Speed Stacks. Some people were competing each other. Others are trying to play. Then among the students who were competing, I was the fastest. And that was pretty cool.

My Artworks

These are pictures of my artworks. Each of them described and the tools I used along with the lesson. Each details are below the pictures.

This one is a realistic bottle, with shading effects. I used an HB pencil, and made a rectangular shape. Then I drew the real bottle, then I erased the guide. Then I shade the bottle with a 6B pencil and charcoal pencil. Then "tada!" the artwork is done!

Now for this artwork, it's a mountain range with the use of warm colors (Like red, orange, yellow, brown, flesh. Something like fire). I used regular oil pastel, and used only the warms colors. When drawing this, it doesn't matter where that color should be. You may feel free to use different colors on that object, but it should be a warm color.

Now for this artwork I did the same thing just like the warm colors only that it is now cool colors (Like blue, purple, green, gray. Something cool). Making this artwork is just the same as above, but the difference is that it's in different colors.

For this artwork, you see a sphere, right? this one is a bit hard to explain, but it's just the same as the bottle. I used the same tools as the bottle.

My Dreams

I had many dreams when I sleep. There were a range of wacky, impossible dreams that it's like it felt real. So I wanted to share it to you! Here is one example.

One time, I was dreaming that I was in a forest with my classmates. Then there was an army helicopter, that was landed, with 2 soldiers. Then one soldier came to us, and he showed us a really tall pole, where we can stay there for a few minutes. My classmates accepted it, then we went to the helicopter and we flew up to the pole. Here's a drawing of it:

Then we all went there, and then we had a competition. 2 people will bump at the sides of the pole and the player who falls loses. The leader selected 2 people, then the fight started. There were people who are cheering. Then I got bumped, and I fell. But I felt OK.

Then they went back to the ground, then the soldier carried me, and let me sit down for a while. It felt so real, but it was a dream.

That was a dream of mine, and I can't really describe how it was. So what is your dream?

MS Paint Tricks

A lot of you know how to draw in MS Paint, right? so i have some tricks in it!

Here's an image of a drawing of mine created in Ms Paint (Click the photos to view it larger and clearer).

Now what trick did I use? Let's find out.

First, you draw a squiggle using any color using a brush, or pencil, as seen in the picture. Next you click on the "Select" button, then click on the Transparency button. As seen below

Using the "Select" tool, make a box around the squiggle. Then hold the "Shift" button, then click and drag the object around. Now your image should look something like this,

Now you can do the technique with different shapes, all together, and with different colors. Something like this,

And how about making some worms using the "Spray" paint?

Or how about overloaded fire meteors?

Christmas Season: What you can look forward into.

Christmas is getting near, and all of us are preparing. Decorations, Dance presentations, parties, and others. I am getting excited for Christmas! how about you?

So for a good idea of preparing for yourself, why not think about want you want for Christmas? what about the things that you have always been wanting? got any idea?

Now how about the gifts you want to give to your friends? family members? relatives? classmates? friends? got any idea?

Keep thinking, you've still got 4 weeks of preparation. Try making a wish list, and plan.
